Teresa Maas, 61, of Amarillo went to be with her Lord on July 28, 2020.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 Coulter St. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2020 at the church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Teresa was born June 23, 1959 in Wellington, TX to Frank and Sharon Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo, TX where she called “Home.” She was a devoted Christian, a loving, caring, giving wife, mother and grandmother “Oney.” Her life was anchored in Christian love for her family. Always thinking of others first and giving everything she had to those closest to her.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Skipp Maas of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Megan Bronniman and husband, Wencer of Claude, TX; son, Mason Maas and wife, Hayden of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Wrenleigh Bronniman, Wheeler Bronniman and Luke Maas; parents, Frank and Sharon Jones of Wellington, TX; sisters, Sherri Jones Lawless and husband, Don of Grand Rapids, MI and Elizabeth Jones McLarty and husband, Richard of Katy, TX; brother, Tim Jones of Boerne, TX; nephew, Patrick Lawless; and niece, Trilby Lawless.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Teresa.
