Rosemary Campos Barragan, 90, of Amarillo died Thursday, August 30, 2018.
A rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1210 S.E. 11th. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Rosemary was born February 11, 1928 in Amarillo to Pedro Campos, Sr. and Trinidad Salazar. She was raised in Hutchinson, Kansas until the age of 9, when her family moved back to Amarillo.
She was a loving wife and mother and an excellent caregiver to her parents and brother, Jose.
Rosemary worked for Texas Panhandle Community Action as a caregiver for the elderly for 13 years and loved her job.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesus; infant daughter, Diana Lynn Palacio; sister, Eulalia Campos; and 3 brothers, Jose Ramos, Pedro Campos, Jr., and Benny Campos.
Rosemary is survived by 2 sons, Andres Palacio, Jr. and wife, Emma of Mojave, C.A., and Anthony “Tony” Palacio and John McCabe of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
